Kammi

Kammi has been with me for 5 days and I can't even begin to describe how sweet this girl is. She loves to give hugs, she will literally lay down on top of you and press her head against your neck. She is just starving for affection and she is getting a lot of it! She is good around other dogs, and has shown no agression at all. She is very sensitive to being reprimanded which leads me to believe somebody was not very nice to her in the past. She loves shoes but when told a simple "no no" in a sweet firm voice she immediately drops it. She is very good in the kennel and I haven't had to kennel her at night. She went to the dog park two days ago and she absolutely loves water! She found the baby pool and was ecstatic to jump, dig, and dunk her face in the water the rest of the time! It was awesome to see such happiness and joy on her face! I am just as lucky as she is to be a part of her new life!!!

This sweet little girl is Rosie! Rosie has a big personality for such a little puppy! She met her new foster brother and was a little scared of him at first because of his size, but that only lasted about 5 seconds. Anytime Oscar gets on to Rosie for chasing the cat or putting her paws on the counter, Rosie barks right back at him as if to say "mind your business". She is almost potty trained and has only had 3 accidents in the house over the past 4 days. This little girl already knows how to sit on command, and we are working on "lay down" for her next command. Rosie is doing very well on the leash, and doesn't mind her kennel too much. She is your typical fun-loving golden puppy and a joy to be around!!!

It is really fun to watch Bo transform into a healthy happy family dog! He has such a silly personality and is still very curious about his new world. Bo sleeps on the doggie bed all night instead of having to be in the crate, but he is still in a crate during the day while I'm at work. Bo snores sometimes at night too! It is so cute! Bo still loves to go on walks, runs, and to the dog park. He has picked up on when it is time to go and sometimes can barely contain his excitement at the front door! He is walking much better on the leash and is still improving every day!!! For some unknown reason, Bo likes wet washcloths. He loves to steal a washcloth after my shower and rub all over it. I found three the other day scattered around the house. He is such a sweet and energetic boy and he is going to make someone very happy in his new home!
